Samo
“I was a drug-using rebel who got kicked out of church, lost everything, and watched a demon speak out of my sister-in-law's body — and that is what finally broke me back to Jesus.”

Before you watch
This testimony moves through two full cycles of conversion, backsliding, and return — including a church expulsion, years of panic attacks and demonic torment, and a witnessed exorcism in a hospital ward. What makes it worth watching is the specificity of God's fingerprints across an ordinary, messy life: a stonemason on a cliff in Italy, a stranger in Australia, a demon naming itself aloud.
What this story teaches
People can genuinely encounter God, walk away, return, walk away again, and still be fully restored — the door does not close after the first backslide, or the second. God's pursuit is longer than any season of running.
How God moved
God in this testimony is patient across years of backsliding, church hurt, ego, and sin — never closing the door. He works through the most unlikely moments: a stranger on a cliff, a chip of stone in an eye, a demon speaking in a hospital. He does not wait for Samo to be clean before showing up — he shows up in the mess and makes the mess the miracle.
What Jesus showed him
Samo carried a deep void he spent years trying to fill — with drugs, recognition, fashion success, and sexual sin. He believed external achievement and the approval of others could satisfy what was hollow inside him. Jesus showed him the void was designed for God alone, and that nothing else — not people, sex, work, or recognition — could ever fill it.
Jesus is the real fulfillment — the real water, the real bread. Before I needed recognition to fill my life. Now Jesus is fulfilling all the rooms in me.
Go Deeper
Nothing, nothing can fulfill that void that you have in your soul that you're trying to fulfill with anything — with people, with relationship, with sex, with work, recognition, anything. Anything that you're trying to fulfill, the thirst will come back. Jesus will fulfill that void. If you don't believe in God, just pray. Pray God. If you don't believe, say, just I don't believe that you exist, but if you exist, reveal yourself to me. Reveal yourself to me. I need you. The Lord will reveal himself to you. Just pick up a Bible and start to read. That's the truth. Even historically, the word of God, it's true. More research you do in the word of God, more you will see how true he is.
People can genuinely encounter God, walk away, return, walk away again, and still be fully restored — the door does not close after the first backslide, or the second. God's pursuit is longer than any season of running.
What you can take from this
This week, identify one thing you have been using to fill a void that keeps coming back empty — and honestly name it to God, even if you don't fully believe he's listening.
I was hearing in my head like 'you're going to die in 10, 9, 8, 7, calm down' constantly. I was living in hell in my own head. Fear of dying, nightmares, trembling in bed — I was depressed and oppressed.
I started to have sleep paralysis, nightmares. I was in my bed trembling. This returned during the Season 2 period when I was far from God and fuelling my ego.
Since I was 14 I had an issue — I was struggling with pornography. The Lord freed me when I first came to him, but after seven or eight months I got tempted and fell, and that sin was a spiral. Shame and guilt were on me and I kept repenting but couldn't stop.
More I was getting into the church, more I was realizing how many rules the church had. I started to lose my personality. They piled up all my sins, put everything together, and decided to kick me out. The pastor looked at me and said 'take down your hand.' I felt so humiliated.
I started to feel condemned. I was reading the word of God, I was sinning, and shame and guilt were on me. I was trying to battle this sin with my own strength but I couldn't. I didn't understand that life in Jesus is not about how good you are.
I started to be fuelled with my own ego. I was feeding my ego, everything. God wasn't in there. I was so far from God, very deep in sin. I was deceived by myself — thinking about myself and going towards that path.
I lift my hand and I said, 'Jesus, forgive my sins, entering my life. I surrender my life to you. Please change me.'
I told everything to the pastor, you know, that I was struggling.
God, I'm far from you. I don't know if you care about me. If you want to give, please give me another chance.
I came back home. I pick up my Bible. I started to pray again. I said, 'Lord, I'm sorry. I know that you're creating something new.'
Someone prayed for me also for that specific sin, sexual immorality like pornography, and the Lord filled me. It left. Gone.
I confessed to my partner and now my wife all my sins also and she forgave me and I started a new relationship with her.
Lord, forgive me for my sins, for all these years. Lord, please free me for all these sins. I need you, Lord.
I gave my brand to the Lord. Now Figures of Speech is a brand consecrated to the Lord, has been made holy by him, and it's not me.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Samo quotes this directly: 'Who is in Christ is a new creature, the old is the past, everything is new' — his personal experience confirmed it.
Matthew 11:28
Samo paraphrases Jesus: 'Come to me, who comes to me I will give rest' — experienced as personally fulfilled in his new life.
John 4:10–14
Samo quotes Jesus: 'I am the real water, I am the real bread, I really fulfill your life' — living water theme central to his testimony.
Mark 16:17–18
Samo quotes the Great Commission mandate to heal the sick and cast out demons as the framework for his current life and calling.
Acts 4:12
Samo declares: 'There is no other name under heaven for you to be saved rather than the name of Jesus Christ' — closing declaration.
Samo repeatedly left God, returned to sin and old friends, then came back to the Father — twice — with full restoration each time.
Samo explicitly quotes Jesus as the real water who fulfills the soul's void that nothing else — sex, recognition, drugs — could satisfy.
The cliff encounter — a divine voice breaking through fear and redirecting Samo's life — mirrors Paul's sudden divine interruption on the road.
Martha's restoration from full paralysis and near-death to complete healing echoes the valley of dry bones coming back to life.
Samo's Christian Walk
Rebellious, ego-driven Italian living for clubbing, drugs, and recognition → man who designs fashion with the Holy Spirit and finds his deepest fulfillment in relationship with God.
Pornography addiction completely gone after deliverance prayer. Confessed all past sins to Georgia, who forgave him; they married and have a restored, honest relationship. Georgia came to faith. Her family got saved. His father, who never acknowledged the Lord before, is now on his own journey with God. His best friend gave his life to the Lord. Martha fully healed — walking, talking, working, and about to be married.
I was new. I felt like a different person. Who is in Christ is a new creature — the old is the past, everything is new. I was like, 'That's me.'
pornography addiction — 'Someone prayed for me also for that specific sin, sexual immorality like pornography, and the Lord filled me. It left. Gone.'
Sexual immorality, pornography — someone prayed for me for that specific sin and the Lord filled me. It left. Gone. Also delivered from panic attacks, nightmares, sleep paralysis, and the fear of dying that had me living in hell in my own head.
Kicked out of his first church by elders including family members; returned to drugs and old friends; suffered relentless panic attacks, nightmares, and sleep paralysis; went broke financially; nearly barred from entering Australia due to a passport listed as stolen; watched his sister-in-law Martha nearly die from brain encephalitis and demonic seizures.
Life in Jesus is not about how good you are. It's about how good he is. It's not about what we do for him. It's about what he did for us.
Running Figures of Speech, a fashion brand he has consecrated to God and now designs with the Holy Spirit. Also preaching the gospel to friends and family, participating in deliverance ministry, and living as a witness to healing and spiritual power in Jesus' name.
Prayer
The power of Prayer — brother stood in the gap for Samo.
Paul, Samo's brother, had his own encounter with Jesus and changed visibly — stopped clubbing, stopped lying, became a better person. When Samo came to him terrified at midnight during a drug-induced crisis, Paul was already awake, prayed over him, and that prayer was the first moment something supernatural happened. Paul also spoke to Samo about Jesus consistently in the period leading up to his conversion.
Samo closes their testimony with a prayer for you.
Whatever you carry right now, you can bring it to Him. You don’t need the right words.
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Romans 10:13
If you don’t know how → Just ask him
Pray for anyone trapped in a cycle of returning to the same sin or the same empty refuge, who believes they have used up their chances with God and that the door is now closed to them.
Is today your day?
Absolutely, He will.
You don't have to figure everything out right now.
You don't need to have all the answers.
If something stirred in your heart while you were watching or reading — that's not nothing.
That is the Holy Spirit gently knocking on the door of your heart.
Stay right here. There's no rush. The Spirit doesn't pressure or hurry.
Watch another video. Read a little more. Take your time.
When you're ready — even if “ready” just means a little curious — Jesus is ready to meet you.
You don't have to clean up your life first.
You don't have to pass any test.
You only need to say a simple “yes” to Him.
He will take care of the rest.
“So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”
