Maria
“From age four I heard voices telling me to kill my mom, harm others, and hang myself — and no psychologist, no distraction, no witchcraft could stop them. Then Jesus held my hands.”

Before you watch
This testimony contains years of graphic demonic torment — voices commanding self-harm and harm to loved ones, beginning at age four — described in honest, specific detail by a young woman who is now free. What makes it worth watching is not just the deliverance but the precision: she names exactly what the enemy did, how it worked, and the single moment it stopped.
What this story teaches
The enemy targets children early — not because they are weak, but because what God has placed in them is a threat. And God pursues them just as early, just as persistently, through whatever crack of openness they offer.
How God moved
God watched a little girl being tormented by voices for a decade and never stopped pursuing her — through a Psalm on a wall, a stranger's prayer, a movie scene, and finally holding her hands in a dark room. He waited for her to call out, and when she did, he answered before she finished asking. He does not require you to be clean before he comes.
The lie Maria carried
Satan is just trying to steal my identity and replace it with a fake one until I believe the lie he was placing in me.
What Jesus showed her
From age four, demonic voices had been building a false identity inside her — that she was a monster who wanted to harm the people she loved. She carried that hidden shame and terror for a decade, believing she was going crazy, until Jesus held her hands and the voices stopped.
Jesus to me is my everything. He is my father. He is my friend. He is my mentor. He is my counselor. He's my anchor. He's the air I breathe. He is everything to my life.
Go Deeper
Just give Jesus a try. You'll never regret it because it's the best decision you could ever make in your life. And it's just a matter of accepting him into your heart. Nobody promised it was going to be easy. In fact, Jesus never said it was going to be easy, but he did promise that he would be with us everywhere that we go, in every step, in every situation. And it's just a matter of submitting to him. You have to give it all to God in order for it to actually work. And it does end up working. I can assure you it ends up working because I've seen it in my life.
The enemy targets children early — not because they are weak, but because what God has placed in them is a threat. And God pursues them just as early, just as persistently, through whatever crack of openness they offer.
What you can take from this
If you have been carrying thoughts or voices that feel foreign to who you are, stop this week and say out loud: 'That is not me.' Then tell one person — or tell God — what you have been carrying alone.
From age 11, thoughts and voices told her specifically how to kill herself — how to go down her hand with a knife, how to wrap her neck around an object at home. They showed her the method visually. She describes an internal fight with something telling her what to do.
Voices told her to kill other people — specifically her mother and a vulnerable younger family member — giving her specific times (10:24pm) and methods. She would freeze at the clock, internally arguing with the voice, holding on to the stroller tighter to resist.
Satan is just trying to steal my identity and replace it with a fake one until I believe the lie he was placing in me. The thoughts would haunt her until she thought that's who she truly was — a monster who wanted to harm people she loved.
Chronic terror of witches from age 4 — crawling under windows, afraid to shower, afraid to close her eyes. Also a fear of not knowing how to breathe that sent her to the ER. Doctors found nothing wrong. The fear resurfaced after she opened New Age doors in her teens.
Family used witchcraft to fight witchcraft — palo santo, protection wristbands, cleansing rituals — all of which she now identifies as more witchcraft in disguise. She also personally practiced chakras, aura reading, zodiac, yoga and mudras, angel cards, unconsciously building demonic foundations.
I started liking these guys that pretended to be Christian and I wanted a Christian relationship, but I didn't realize it was a counterfeit from Satan to push me away from God. As I was away from God, I realized I didn't talk about Jesus as much.
Growing up I never saw the example of a good marriage. It would always end up either in divorce or with really bad family dynamics. Satan hates covenant. When we started doing things God's way, since it wasn't done in my family before, Satan rose up in so many ways that even the police almost got involved.
She lays her hands on me and I remember that I just start crying and I start feeling like a sense of freedom when she's praying to Jesus and I've never had a relationship with Jesus until I guess that moment when everything kind of started gradually changing.
I radically wanted to take off my protection wristbands. It was a red little wristband. And there was also something that I used to carry in my pocket... all these things, they're not a part of me anymore because now I'm Christian. I don't want nothing to do with that.
I just kneel down and I start saying to God all about all the thoughts. I confess it to God and I decide, you know, I'm going to tell him. I didn't tell anyone else, but I'm going to tell him. I said, 'God, let me feel your Holy Ghost.'
I started confessing my sins for the first time in my life. I didn't know how to do that, but it was like the Holy Spirit was helping me and guiding me through praying because I didn't know how to pray.
I'm no longer going to say that I'm bored. I was already rewiring my brain like okay I'm going to do this. I'm going to do that. Now I'm a Christian.
That same day, I ended things with my situationship with the guy that was like trying to be with me. And I was like, 'No, because I'm going to be radical for Jesus.' The day I cut it off, like all these friendships that are not from God and all these things that are trying to distract me, everything started changing.
I created a poster and I emailed the superintendent of the whole school system and then I emailed the principal about it and somehow by the grace of God they approved me for it. We talked about Jesus and at the end if there's anyone who wants to do the salvation prayer just raise your hand.

Her mom hung it on her bedroom wall at age 8; the night she read it she had her first dream of hell.
Ephesians 4:29
God convicted her to stop cursing; she quotes this verse as the reason she stopped completely.

She quotes 'I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ' as her declaration when sharing faith in high school.

Jonah 1:1
She explicitly compared herself to Jonah running from God's call to open the Jesus club.
Maria explicitly named herself as Jonah, running from God's call to open a Jesus club in her high school for over a year.
Years of demonic torment and mental death were suddenly reversed at the moment of encounter — life breathed into what was spiritually dead.
A sudden, physical divine encounter in a private room transformed Maria from a lukewarm drifter into a radical witness overnight.
Maria had an initial encounter with Jesus at 12, drifted into lukewarm Christianity and occult practices, then returned radically at 14.
Maria's Christian Walk
Colombian girl tormented by demonic voices, occult family background, and years of hidden mental warfare → radical follower of Jesus who broke generational curses and now leads others to him.
The tormenting voices and intrusive thoughts stopped completely after her encounter with Jesus. She stopped cursing entirely and has maintained that for over five years. She led Bible studies with her family, preached the gospel to her father and aunts, opened a Jesus club at her high school, and married in a God-honoring covenant marriage, breaking a generational pattern of divorce and family dysfunction.
My life just went from gray to like all the colors possible. It was beautiful. Now I see life through a different lens.
The voices and thoughts telling her to kill herself and harm others — 'I stopped hearing them talk to me and it was like my mind was cleared. It was like I never went through it.'
Years of suffering and mental trauma — it was gone after I just started talking to Jesus. The demons and spirits that were coming after me, they just left me and I stopped hearing them talk to me and it was like my mind was cleared. It was like I never went through it.
In junior year she was sexually harassed by someone near her family, went through a painful breakup she believed was God's will, and faced extreme spiritual warfare. Planning her wedding triggered intense family opposition, hatred, hurtful words, near-police involvement, and a father's ICU hospitalization on the day she launched the Jesus club.
Opened a Jesus club in her secular high school in her senior year, preaching the gospel and leading students in salvation prayer. Now married, she is pursuing a calling to reach youth for Jesus and break generational curses in her family line.
Prayer
The power of Prayer — Christian family friend who took her to church stood in the gap for Maria.
Sandra, a Christian friend of her mother, took 12-year-old Maria to church when she was at her lowest point. She sat with Maria, listened to everything she was going through, told her 'you know that's not you,' and then prayed over her with laying on of hands — the first time a Christian had ever prayed for Maria in that way. Later, Sandra brought a brother from the church to teach the family about Jesus, which sparked Maria's radical engagement with the Bible.
Maria closes their testimony with a prayer for you.
Whatever you carry right now, you can bring it to Him. You don’t need the right words.
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Romans 10:13
If you don’t know how → Just ask him
Pray for every young person right now who is smiling on the outside while going through hell on the inside — that they would find one person who tells them the truth: those thoughts are not who they are.
Is today your day?
Absolutely, He will.
You don't have to figure everything out right now.
You don't need to have all the answers.
If something stirred in your heart while you were watching or reading — that's not nothing.
That is the Holy Spirit gently knocking on the door of your heart.
Stay right here. There's no rush. The Spirit doesn't pressure or hurry.
Watch another video. Read a little more. Take your time.
When you're ready — even if “ready” just means a little curious — Jesus is ready to meet you.
You don't have to clean up your life first.
You don't have to pass any test.
You only need to say a simple “yes” to Him.
He will take care of the rest.
“So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”
