Before you watch
This testimony moves through years of deep new age involvement — plant medicine, Tantra, Gnostic false christs, and a public influencer persona — before arriving at an instantaneous conversion in an Amsterdam park. It is candid about the disorientation and grief that followed, making it unusually honest about what coming out of the new age actually costs.
What this story teaches
People who are most deeply invested in counterfeit spirituality are often the most genuinely hungry for truth — and that hunger, when it finally turns in the right direction, can produce the most instantaneous and complete transformations.
How God moved
God pursued someone who was actively building counterfeit spiritual systems and teaching others to do the same — and reached her in a single moment the instant she genuinely asked for truth. He did not wait for her to clean up her life or find the right path. He met her exactly where she was and remade her from the inside out.
The lie Amaya carried
I had figured it all out — but it was a complete fabrication and I only half-heartedly believed myself; it was a veneer.
What Jesus showed her
She had spent years performing the role of someone who had found the truth — going around pretending she wasn't lost, wasn't broken, that she had figured it all out — when it was a complete fabrication she only half-heartedly believed herself. The veneer was her identity, and it was hollow.
In the end I was looking for Jesus, I just never expected that he was the answer — the last place I would have ever looked. He found me in one instant and I was made a new creation.
Go Deeper
I think my first and foremost advice would be to really realize that it's different from the new age — in the new age we're always trying to sell an image, we're trying to sell a lie, we're trying to sell happiness. So at least for me when I got saved I assumed that this would be the end of any and all suffering and struggling in life because that is the lie that I've been sold. So I grandfather that lie into Christianity and that was a bit of disillusionment. Don't bring that expectation to Christ that you're never going to be unhappy again — it's going to make the ride a lot less bumpy. Pray for discernment, pray for fellowship, sound fellowship. If you're going to learn and grow along the way you might have to let go of a certain church or fellowship — dust off and keep going on the narrow road. If you can find mature Christians who can disciple you, preferably in a local church congregation. Don't try and do it by yourself because it's not going to work as a Christian.

What you can take from this
If you have been collecting spiritual practices, teachers, or experiences trying to fill something that never quite fills — stop this week and ask, out loud or in writing, whether you have ever genuinely asked the God of the Bible to show you if he is real.
The New Age presented itself as truth-seeking and healing but was the first lie from the serpent in the garden repackaged and rebranded. A Course in Miracles claimed to be channeled by Jesus himself to correct what the apostles misunderstood — the Bible upside down and backwards using biblical language to deceive those who had not read scripture.
Through Tantra, yoga, plant medicine, and the divine feminine / goddess movement, Amaya aligned herself with what she now identifies as a very dark spiritual agenda — spirits embodying women more and more through the goddess / feminine embodiment space, operating through seduction and self-glorification.
Started with vegetarianism and juice fasting, rolled into yoga, then Tantra, sacred geometry — a snowball effect. Once you're in you can't really leave unless you find Jesus. Each practice opened the door to the next darker one.
A counterfeit 'waking up' movement ran parallel to the revival of people being saved out of the New Age — people publicly denouncing the New Age while still fully in it, just using fewer crystals, still worshipping a false god because they don't know Jesus. Amaya was part of this counterfeit before her true conversion.
Post-conversion, Amaya's inherited anti-church worldview — partly reasonable, partly a trap of the enemy — kept her reluctant to fully join a local church for nearly two years, leaving her without the discipleship and accountability she needed.
I said to the universe I want to know the truth and then I received the Holy Spirit in that instant and I was made a new creation.
I cancelled that — I had just opened a container, a feminine mystery school for sensual arts, and was just about to launch a program the next month and make like 100k. I cancelled that.
I took out my extensions, my makeup, I dressed normally and appropriately, listened to different music.
For at least five weeks pretty much non-stop like a full-time job I started researching the scriptures — how reliable are they, do we have original manuscripts, how well were they transmitted. And then I started reading the Bible.
For me at first it happened through a WhatsApp Telegram group with a bunch of mature and seasoned believers and to this day I'm so so thankful to them — they tied me over until I found my local church to be discipled.
Revelation 17:1–6
Amaya read about the Harlot of Babylon wearing scarlet robes and jewelry and recognised it as a description of herself in the year before she was saved.
Philippians 3:8
Amaya echoes Paul's language — counting all her accomplishments, money, and accolades as worth nothing — as she processed the cost of conversion.
Instant conversion in a single moment, immediate identity reversal, and a revelation that could not be denied — mirroring Paul's sudden encounter.
Amaya spent years in spiritual and moral 'far country', exhausted all false refuges, then returned and was immediately received.
Amaya explicitly uses this image to describe months after conversion where her flesh looked back at the old life she had left.
Amaya's Christian Walk
Gnostic new age truth-seeker glorifying self, goddess energy, and counterfeit christs → born-again believer who received the Holy Spirit in an instant and recognised the Bible as the word of God.
Seven-year daily weed addiction fell off at the moment of salvation. Stopped sex outside marriage from the day she was saved. Removed extensions and makeup, dressed modestly, changed music. Cancelled a lucrative new age coaching program. Stopped attending ecstatic dance. Cussing stopped within a couple of months with the Lord's help.
I received the Holy Spirit in that instant and I was made a new creation.
A seven-year daily weed addiction — 'all of those things fell off of me in like a week' — along with the desire for sex outside marriage, dark and seductive music, and ecstatic dance.
A seven-year weed addiction, sex outside of marriage, the whole lifestyle of sensual arts and feminine embodiment coaching, incredibly dark and seductive music, ecstatic dance, extensions and makeup and dressing half naked — all of those things fell off of me in like a week.
After conversion Amaya lost her income (cancelled a planned 100k launch), had to leave her house and city, lost most of her friend group, felt very alone with no local born-again Christians nearby, and went through months of disorientation grieving the self that was crucified and the entire life that came with it.

Prayer
The power of Prayer — anonymous testimony speaker stood in the gap for Amaya.
Amaya heard a testimony — the first time in her life she heard the gospel — and in response asked to know the truth, at which point she received the Holy Spirit instantly. The identity of the person whose testimony she heard is not named.
Whatever you carry right now, you can bring it to Him. You don’t need the right words.
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Romans 10:13
If you don’t know how → Just ask him
Pray for people currently inside the new age, divine feminine, or plant medicine communities who sense something is off but don't know where else to look — that their genuine hunger for truth would lead them to the real Jesus.
Is today your day?
Absolutely, He will.
You don't have to figure everything out right now.
You don't need to have all the answers.
If something stirred in your heart while you were watching or reading — that's not nothing.
That is the Holy Spirit gently knocking on the door of your heart.
Stay right here. There's no rush. The Spirit doesn't pressure or hurry.
Watch another video. Read a little more. Take your time.
When you're ready — even if “ready” just means a little curious — Jesus is ready to meet you.
You don't have to clean up your life first.
You don't have to pass any test.
You only need to say a simple “yes” to Him.
He will take care of the rest.
“So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”

I was a very miserable, angry person. My whole life was a trauma drama. I was into the New Age for 15 years, tried everything — Sufism, Buddhism, feminism, all of it — and none of it led me to truth or life. I had so much abuse, anger, hatred, and condemnation inside me.

I was a foster care kid who aged out of the system with a felony, no education, and a deep belief that I was a mistake. I fled my marriage, practiced Buddhism, and sought worth in all the wrong places. I was angry, broken, and terrified — and I didn't believe God existed.

I thought Christianity was the dumbest thing ever — a crutch for people who needed to lie to themselves. I was selling drugs, dabbling in the occult, trying to open my third eye to fight the demons that had followed me since infancy. I was a psychonaut who thought he was smarter than religion.
