Alyssa
“I was levitating outside my body, forced to watch my children being abused, too paralyzed to pray — so I just cried out 'Jesus' in my head, and something stronger than what held me put me back.”

Before you watch
This testimony contains graphic descriptions of childhood sexual abuse beginning at age 5, escalating occult involvement, and a terrifying demonic encounter involving Alyssa's children. What makes it worth watching is the specificity of what broke her — not a sermon, but a moment of sheer paralysis where only one name worked.
What this story teaches
People who have been deeply wounded often fill the God-shaped hole with systems that give them the feeling of control — and the new age is particularly effective at this because it reframes trauma as karma and gives the wounded person a sense of power. But counterfeit peace has no bottom.
How God moved
God did not wait for Alyssa to clean up her beliefs or her life before reaching her. He met her inside the darkest moment — paralyzed, terrified, watching her worst fear play out — and responded to the smallest cry of his name. He also showed her that the man who hurt her was not a monster to hate but a broken person he still loved, which was the key that unlocked her freedom.
The lie Alyssa carried
God doesn't love me — he's for the normal kids, not for me. I'm the percentage he forgot.
What Jesus showed her
She had carried since age 13 the belief that God was real but had deliberately excluded her — that she was the forgotten percentage, the trailer park child he didn't want. Her wound was not just abuse but the conclusion it produced: she was unlovable by God himself.
Jesus to me is a love that I can't understand — he's a redeemer in a way I can't put into words, because I'm living a new life. I'm a new mother, a new wife, a new human being.
Go Deeper
The first thing is to the new agers out there and the fellow witches — when you first start it's going to be a sequence of counterfeit spiritual highs and I'm never going to deny that and say it doesn't exist cuz it's there but you will find eventually it's a cup without a bottom so as you keep pouring these healing practices on they're just going right through nothing is lasting. And Jesus is who he said he is so when he told the woman in Samaria I will give you water and you will never thirst again that's true so you don't have to keep searching you don't have to go to the next retreat or the next seminar or spend more money on more books like you can just knock and he will open the door and it's freeing it's freeing that you just need one book you don't need all these crystals you don't need this bondage you just need Jesus. And the second thing I'd like to say is to anybody who's been hurt by the religious spirit hurt by a church or a pastor or somebody who pretended to know God — don't let that hurt influence your relationship with your Jesus and he is your Jesus because he wants us to belong to him and he wants to belong to us and when we look at a church or a pastor or somebody in this world who is broken and damaged us we can't take that to mean the Creator is broken and damaged us these are just broken people.
People who have been deeply wounded often fill the God-shaped hole with systems that give them the feeling of control — and the new age is particularly effective at this because it reframes trauma as karma and gives the wounded person a sense of power. But counterfeit peace has no bottom.
What you can take from this
If you have been using any spiritual practice primarily to feel in control of a life that once felt completely out of control, ask yourself this week: is it actually working, or is it a cup without a bottom?
I came up with two possibilities — this God must not exist, or if he exists he's not for me. He's for those kids that grow up with their mom and dad. I'm the percentage in the trailer park that he forgot.
Since I was a child I had spiritual gifts — prophetic dreams, I could read the energy of a situation or a person really well. I didn't know a Christian could have a spiritual gift so I thought this is proof I was born a witch.
Getting into the new age was like stepping into quicksand — yoga to meditation to Eastern philosophy to karma to manifesting to crystals to sage to candles to witchcraft. A sequence of counterfeit spiritual highs — a cup without a bottom.
Nightmares related to the abuse getting worse and turning into sleep paralysis which I'd never experienced in my life. Escalated to levitating 4 feet out of my body, forced to watch visions of my children being abused, something trying to rip me out and come in.
I end up learning that this type of abuse that I went through is generational. As a Christian I'm able to work through these generational curses so I'm not passing it on to my kids.
I had already decided the Christian God doesn't love me so I'm not looking for Jesus in the Bible — I'm looking for Jesus in the new age. That's basically just a man, not a God, enlightened in the way we can all become enlightened.
I can't but I can get out in my head Jesus Jesus Jesus.
She happens to be involved in Deliverance Ministry and so she leads me through renouncing everything that I had been involved in.
I throw away I don't know how much worth of crystals, I throw away my new age library, I looked at them and I felt disgusted and I threw them away no problem.
I got a Bible and for the first time I felt like I only need this one book. I don't need to be searching in here and in there and I just need this one.
Lord I don't know how to forgive him I know where you're calling me to go but I don't know how to get there. I was able to actually write him a letter and say look this is what you did this is how it affected me I Found Jesus and he's helping me forgive you and I'm actually praying for you and I'm praying for your deliverance.
Matthew 7:7
Alyssa references 'knock and it will be opened' as the moment she decided to give Jesus a chance.
John 4:13–14
Alyssa quotes Jesus telling the woman at the well 'I will give you water and you will never thirst again' as her message to new agers.
Acts 2:1
Alyssa notes she didn't know Acts or the Holy Spirit, so she didn't know Christians could have spiritual gifts.
Psalms 139:13
God told Alyssa he formed her abuser in his mother's womb — echoing this passage as the basis for seeing his humanity.
Luke 23:34
Alyssa references Jesus forgiving those killing him as the standard she was called to meet in forgiving her abuser.
Mark 4:3–20
Alyssa references the parable of the sower — wanting the seed to fall on solid soil, not thorns or the path.
Like Paul, Alyssa was actively opposed to the true Jesus and was stopped by a direct supernatural encounter that immediately reversed her trajectory.
Alyssa knocked expecting the new age Jesus and was surprised when the real one answered — a return to a Father she had rejected.
Alyssa explicitly applies this passage to her own journey — years of new age searching that never satisfied, until Jesus.
Alyssa describes herself as 'a dead woman walking' before conversion — brought to life by the Spirit of God.
The accusation
God allowed this to happen to meWhat they said
“You're this God that separated the oceans right but you sat and you watched when I was five and this man was in his underwear and he was telling me to get on top of him.”
How God answered
Through the supernatural encounter and the forgiveness process, Alyssa discovered Jesus is Lord of everything and actively pursues even those who felt forgotten. God showed her her abuser was also a broken human he created and loved, reframing her wound.
Resolution
Fully resolved in testimonyAlyssa's Christian Walk
New age witch who believed all paths lead to the same source and that God had forgotten her → believer in the one Jesus who is Lord of everything, whose name alone breaks demonic power.
Sleep paralysis and night terrors stopped completely. Depression and anxiety lifted. Marriage became peaceful — less fighting, more love. Gained patience with her young children. Delivered from rage and fear. Husband admits things are different even without sharing her faith.
I was just a dead woman walking with depression with all different things and now after letting Jesus in I'm alive.
sleep paralysis and night terrors — 'he does admit you're not waking me up guttural screaming anymore from the sleep paralysis and night terrors'
delivered from my rage and my fears, no more sleep paralysis, free from this bondage of unforgiveness that I was searching all the way through the new age to find and never found, threw away my crystals, my new age library, my tarot cards
Her husband did not share her faith and initially thought she was going crazy when she threw away thousands of dollars of crystals. Her new age community did not understand her conversion. She had to work through deep forgiveness of her childhood abuser and confront generational curses.
Breaking generational cycles of abuse and witchcraft so her children will be the first generation to know Jesus and an intimate relationship with him. Sharing her testimony publicly to reach new agers and witches.
Prayer
The power of Prayer — Christian trauma therapist stood in the gap for Alyssa.
A coworker Alyssa shouldn't have known — different shift, department, floor, and hours — introduced her to a trauma therapist who happened to be a Christian. The therapist incorporated prayer to Jesus into sessions, which brought Alyssa unexpected peace. After Alyssa's supernatural encounter, the same therapist, who was involved in deliverance ministry, led her through renouncing everything she had been involved in.
Alyssa closes their testimony with a prayer for you.
Whatever you carry right now, you can bring it to Him. You don’t need the right words.
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Romans 10:13
If you don’t know how → Just ask him
Pray for anyone who decided as a child that God doesn't love them specifically — that they are the forgotten percentage — and has been searching ever since in places that cannot answer that question.
Is today your day?
Absolutely, He will.
You don't have to figure everything out right now.
You don't need to have all the answers.
If something stirred in your heart while you were watching or reading — that's not nothing.
That is the Holy Spirit gently knocking on the door of your heart.
Stay right here. There's no rush. The Spirit doesn't pressure or hurry.
Watch another video. Read a little more. Take your time.
When you're ready — even if “ready” just means a little curious — Jesus is ready to meet you.
You don't have to clean up your life first.
You don't have to pass any test.
You only need to say a simple “yes” to Him.
He will take care of the rest.
“So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”

I was a very miserable, angry person. My whole life was a trauma drama. I was into the New Age for 15 years, tried everything — Sufism, Buddhism, feminism, all of it — and none of it led me to truth or life. I had so much abuse, anger, hatred, and condemnation inside me.
